Patients at Glasgow's superhospital were evacuated overnight after a room was set on fire.
17 people had to get out after the blaze broke out on the 11th floor.
A 37 year old, understood to be a patient, has been reported to prosecutors.
It's understood the sprinkler system in the unit managed to put out the flames.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At approximately 2.12 am on Wednesday, emergency services attended reports of a room on fire on the 11th floor at the QEUH."
"The fire was extinguished by the in house sprinkler system, however, 17 patients from the ward were evacuated as a precaution due to smoke damage."
"No one was injured."
"A 37 year old man is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with the incident."
