The body of a Hungarian man who went missing almost two months ago has been found.
Milan Vass, 29, was last seen at his home in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, on August 19.
Police said a man's body was found in a wooded area near to Whinhall Road in the town on October 7.
The body has been identified as Mr Vass and his family has been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal, Police Scotland said.
Chief Inspector Gavin Russell said: ``We would like to offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family at this difficult time and would like to thank the local community and wider public for their assistance throughout this inquiry.''
