Man Charged After Death Of Man In Edinburgh

A man has been charged over an alleged murder in Edinburgh.
Police Scotland began investigating after an incident at a house on Guardwell Glen, just after 11pm on Saturday, when 34-year-old James Gatti was discovered with serious injuries.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, however died a short time later.
A 45-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
Chief Inspector Mark Rennie, Police Scotland's area commander for south-east Edinburgh, said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of James at this difficult time.
"Officers will be carrying out inquiries and will be on patrol in the area over the next few days to provide support and information to residents.''
