Man dies after being shot in Glasgow

A 29-year-old man who was shot as he sat in a car in Glasgow has died in hospital, police said.
Kenneth Reilly was injured while sitting in the passenger seat of a silver BMW at traffic lights on Bilsland Drive, Ruchill.
Thee attacker, who was wearing a black balaclava, then jumped back into a car which sped off in the direction of Maryhill Road.
A police spokesman said: "Officers can confirm a 29-year-old man, who was shot in Bilsland Drive on Monday has died in hospital today.
"Kenneth Reilly was injured while sitting in the passenger seat of a silver BMW at traffic lights on Bilsland Drive, near to Maryhill Road, Ruchill.
"Officers are now investigating the incident as murder."
Police are continuing to gather CCTV images and carry out door-to-door inquiries for any information or detail which could prove vital in the investigation.
Detective Superintendent Kenny Graham said: "We have received an encouraging response from the local community following our appeal yesterday but I believe there is still a significant amount of information out there which has yet to be passed on to us.
"I am appealing to the public for their co-operation and support as we try to piece together the motive behind this attack which has left a young man dead.
"We continue to pursue all lines of enquiry and ask anyone with information to call us."
A burnt-out black people carrier was recovered from Craigieburn Gardens in Maryhill and is undergoing forensic examination.
Detectives say it could have been used in the attack.
Additional officers continue to patrol the area to offer reassurance to local people.
