Police have found an absconded prisoner who went missing on Monday.
David Arthur, 31, an inmate at HMP Castle Huntly, has been found in Paisley.
He was on a temporary period of leave from prison when he was discovered to have gone missing, having last been seen in the Shore Road area of Perth at about 12.30pm on Monday.
Police had warned the public not to approach Arthur as he has previous convictions for violence, and instead asked them to report any sightings of him to police.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: ``Missing Castle Huntly absconder David Arthur has been traced in Paisley.''
