Police Arrest Two Men After Cannabis Worth Nearly £500,000 Seized

Two men have been arrested after police seized almost £500,000 worth of drugs.
They recovered 60 kilos of cannabis resin from a car which they stopped in Argyle Street, Glasgow, at about 3.15pm on Wednesday.
A 49 year-old man has been arrested in connection with the seizure.
At about 7pm the same day, officers acting under warrant searched a property in North Street, Paisley, Renfrewshire, and recovered about 115 kilos of cannabis resin.
Police said a 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the recovery.
The drugs - which were seized as part of an intelligence-led operation - have an estimated street value of about £497,000.
The 49-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday while the 39-year-old man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday.
