Police release CCTV images after woman pushed off train

Police investigating after a woman was pushed off a train have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace.

The incident happened on board a ScotRail service which had just arrived into Edinburgh Park station.

A man boarded the train at around 5.35pm on Monday September 25 and assaulted a woman by elbowing and pushing her from the carriage.

He then assaulted a male passenger.

British Transport Police officers want to speak to a man pictured in the CCTV images in connection with the inquiry.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 496 of September 25. Alternatively, a report can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
