A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a taxi in Edinburgh.
The incident happened outside a tanning salon on St John's Road in the Corstorphine area of the city at around 12.35pm.
Police said the 13-year-old was involved in a collision with a black cab which stopped at the scene.
The boy suffered injuries to his legs and was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Police Scotland said.
Inspector Davie Ferguson said: "As part of our ongoing inquiries we are keen to hear from any motorists or members of the public who witnessed this incident and I would urge them to contact police immediately should they have any information.''
The road was closed in both directions but has since reopened.
