A teenager has died after getting into difficulty in Loch Lomond.
Emergency services were called to the scene, north of Luss in Argyll and Bute, at about 7.20pm on Sunday.
The Loch Lomond rescue boat pulled a 17-year-old boy who had been reported missing from the water.
CPR was performed by the crew while he was transported to the Scottish Ambulance Service.
He was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, Renfrewshire, where Police Scotland say he later died.
A spokeswoman said: "At around 7.20pm on Sunday, police received a report of a 17-year-old man in the water at Loch Lomond just north of Luss.
"Emergency services attended and the man was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital, where he later died.
"A post-mortem examination will take place in due course, however there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
