Bradycardia is a condition that causes sufferers to have a slow heart rate (under 60 beats per minute), and typically shows no symptoms until a persons heart rate drops.
Insiders told The Sun newspaper that Kieran has been suffering from severe migraines and is being constantly monitored by the hospital for the time being.
The source said, 'He is suffering from migraine attacks, and found that he has an irregular heartbeat and bradycardia – he needs to take it easy for the time being and the hospital will continue to monitor his heart. He’s comfortable and being looked after.'
5 After Midnight made the X Factor finals in 2016 where Kieran also found out he was going to be a father for the first time.
Despite splitting with his ex-girlfriend and son's mother Sophie Johnson, Kieran has vowed that the split won't stop him being the best dad he can be to son Jaxon.
He said, "It’s wicked. He’s a blessing to my life and another reason to carry on pushing forward and become better, not even just in music but as a person in general."
"He’s really changed my outlook on everything so I’m very thankful to have him in my life."
