Benidorm Looks Set For Chop This Reason

TV bosses have confirmed the future of the show won't be finalised until next year.

The show which has included top cameos from Sheridan Smith to Joan Collins is reportedly losing viewers.

With the 10th series having gone into production earlier this year, Benidorm which has had a hugely popular run and a cult following is set for a break next year anyway but speculation is rife that this might be the very last series.

After a spectacular 10 year run Benidorm could be off our screens for good.

A source told The Sun: “Some feel the show has done its time. It’s still popular but many of the old faces are long gone. There is a feeling it is going through the motions.

“Series 11 is yet to be commissioned and the concern is if it does take a break it might never come back.”

Set in at the fictional Spanish Solana hotel opened in 2007 to an audience of around 8.5 million viewers and has received two National Television Awards. However last year’s first episode pulled in just over 4.5million viewers.
