Fans have taken to Twitter to ridicule the 'Single Ladies' singer's wax work at Madame Tussaud's in New York.

It's safe to say that Beyoncè has one of the most famous faces on the planet but her latest waxwork was far from recognisable.

Madame Tussauds in New York unveiled their latest figurine of the 'Single Ladies' singer but fans have been left questioning why the figure looks nothing like the star.

The life-sized model sees the singer wearing a blonde wig, a sparkling purple leotard and thigh-high boots, but fans have been left wondering whose face she's wearing!

Beyonce's dodgy mini-me left fans scratching their heads as they tried to figure out who it was, with some drawing comparisons to Shakira and Britney Spears.

However, it turns out it’s not just New York’s Madame Tussaud’s that has an issue with making their Beyoncés look realistic.

Allure’s editor in chief Michelle Lee took to Twitter to share a few of the hilarious attempts on Twitter, tweeting: ‘Theory: Beyoncé wax figure makers have never seen Beyoncé.’

Among some of the worst wax figures, was a Canadian waxwork museum, whose figure looks so unlike the megastar that they had to pin a name tag reading ‘Beyonce Knowles’ on her dress to identify her!

Oh dear!
