The end of a relationship is usually a sad affair for all parties involved. However, splitting up doesn't always have to mean anger and resentment towards your former flame. Take inspiration from these previous partners have managed to remain close even after the romance has finished.

After meeting on set of their movie 'Scream' during the 90s, the couple fell in love and the rest as they say, is history. However, in 2010 the couple sadly ended their marriage. Nevertheless, the pair have managed to stay extremely close: "It really was a goal of ours to not make it a fight" David told ABC News, "to really support each other and although we'd grown apart to stay connected". The actors are also still business partners, who own jointly own their company Coquette Productions.
The hit maker and blonde bombshell called time on their relationship back in 2006 after nearly four years together. The two actors were reunited on a professional level however, when they starred opposite each other as love interests in the movie 'Bad Teacher'. When questioned on whether the job was an awkward on however, a cool Cameron told 'Us Weekly': It really wasn't a big deal, we had a great time and did the job".

The 39-year-old actress and 59-year-old actor may no longer be married, but the two are still very much involved in one another's lives: "We check in on each other all the time" the 'Armageddon' actor told website 'YourTango'. "She's got so much energy and goodness in her." Aww bless.
Two of the most friendly Hollywood exes have to be former partners Marc Anthony and J Lo. Since the couple split the joint-parents to twins Emme and Maximilian have continued to firmly support and encourage one another: "Marc and I are very good friends" the 45-year-old actress told the 'Huffington Post'. "we're very supportive".
The Muse rockstar and the 36-year-old mother of their son Bingham have been pictured on numerous occasions laughing and joking together since they called off their engagement. Bellamy took to Twitter to reassure his fans after the split: "We're both very happy, it's for the best".
The 'Two and a Half Men' actor and his model ex-wife are another former couple determined to put their kids first: "We're very close and we're good friends" Richards told the 'Huffington Post'.
