I had to avoid Angelina, says Depp

Johnny Depp reveals how he had to avoid being photographed with Angelina Jolie

Johnny Depp has opened up about what it was like to work with Angelina Jolie on the film The Tourist.

In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, Depp spoke about how and Jolie avoided talking to each other publicly to avoid being snapped together and generating rumours.

He was also surprised at how down to earth Angelina is, despite her universal fame. He added that he felt sorry for her and Brad Pitt as they always get followed by paparazzi, even when they are out with their six children.
"Poor thing" said Depp referring to Jolie "dogged by the paparazzi, her and her husband Brad...all their kids. There are times when you see how ridiculous is this life, how ludicrous it is, you know, leaving your house every morning and being followed by the paparazzi".

Depp also revealed how his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise was seen as risky by Disney. "They couldn't stand him. They just couldn't stand him" he said, adding that some Disney executives thought he was ruining the film.
