The former One Direction star has reportedly moved out of their £5million home, but plans to share parental responsibilities with Cheryl.
Cheryl Tweedy and Liam Payne have decided to call time on their relationship after two-and-a-half years together.
The pair, who together have a one-year-old son, Bear, took to their separate Twitter accounts to post a statement late last night:
Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.

Liam has reportedly moved out of their £5 million mansion in Surrey but it is expected that they will remain good friends and share parental duties of Bear.
A source revealed to The Sun: "Cheryl and Liam worked really hard on their relationship – they had troubles earlier this year and were able to get through them.

“But they’re in different stages of their lives and, after a lot of careful thought, came to a decision that it’s best for everyone if they do go their separate ways.
“He still cares for her and she cares for him. They still have an ongoing relationship together. They have a baby together."
Another friend of the couple revealed: "This was a mutual loving decision. There is no animosity – they made the call based on what’s best for their family.
“They get on great and this was a decision they made taking into account what’s right for their son.
“But they are adamant they will be the best possible parents to Bear by both being in his life."
Cheryl and Liam have, for the most part, kept their relationship very private, including their pregnancy, which the two managed to hide from the world for the whole nine months.
The couple first crossed paths back in 2008, when Liam auditioned for the fifth series of X Factor, on which Cheryl was a judge.
Their shock relationship blossomed soon after Cheryl split from her second husband, French restauranteur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, after two years of marriage.
Prior to that, Cheryl was married to Premiership footballer Ashley Cole, for four years.
