The Love Island hunk gushed about the soap actress and said she had met his family at their Gloucestershire farm... but she says it never happened.
Georgia May Foote, 27, has hit back at rumours that she is dating Love Island’s Chris Hughes, 25, just minutes after he gushed over their relationship.
He told The Sun: “She is an absolutely stunning girl – she is a beautiful girl inside and out.”
He even claimed that she met his parents adding: “I’ve been up north to see her and she’s been down south to see me. She met my mum and dad – you can’t avoid mum and dad.”
And despite the long distance between them, with him living up north and her living down south, he insisted: “We’re still talking and trying to make things work.”
But in an awkward turn of events, Georgia May Foote took to Instagram to post a furious video claiming the complete opposite.
Hitting out at the press she explained: “My private life is my private life, and I’m choosing not to date anyone at the moment because I did not choose to be in this position in the first place, so please leave me alone.”
I am not dating anyone. At all. No one has 'met my parents' and i am well and truly single. So please stop with the stories. I didn't chose or want to be in the position i am in so i'm not going to look for something else. Please leave me be x— Georgia May Foote (@georgiafoote) 23 April 2018
She also tweeted a strong message which read: “I am not dating anyone. At all. No one has ‘met my parents’ and i am well and truly single.”
Well if that isn’t awkward we don’t know what is!
