Sian Welby David Walliams

The Britain's Got Talent judge and author read a part of his new book as well as a story he made up which sounded pretty familiar...

Britain's Got Talent judge, funnyman, author and all round good egg David Walliams came to visit Heart this week!

He stopped by to have a chat with Sian Welby about his brand new book and to read a peculiar sounding story.

'The World's Worst Children 2' is his brand new book and, you've guessed it, is full of ten short stories about a 'brand new gang of hilariously horrible kids'.

Released on the 25th May, his fab new book is illustrated by Tony Ross whose drawings you may recognise from the classic Horrid Henry books, written by Francesca Simon.

David treated Sian to a little snippet which you can watch below, enjoy!

We all know that David is good at making up jokes on the spot, but what are his storytelling improv skills like?

Well, we challenged him to make up a story for Sian using only song lyrics from tunes we love to play on Heart!

He did pretty well, we think you'll agree, but do you recognise which songs these lyrics come from?

If you weren't quick enough, here's David's weird and wonderful song story below...

In the summer of 69, when we were young

Despacito! Could you be the most beautiful girl in the world?

I think i've found myself a cheerleader!

Lucky for you that's what I like!

And, she played a fiddle in an Irish band but she fell in love with an English man.

I'm only human after all, and the haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate!

Let us know if you managed to correctly match the lyrics with the songs!
