Gary Barlow has shown his support for Ant McPartlin insisting he can “come back from this”
Gary Barlow has offered Ant McPartlin his support, insisting that the host will bounce back after his TV break.
Reminiscing on his own low and battle with depression, the Take That singer, 47, told the Mail On Sunday: “When you have the whole world watching it makes it three times worse, because you can’t escape it.
“But what Ant should know is that he can come out of this. He needs to get well, but he can come back.”
Ant, 42, went back to rehab last month after being arrested for drink-driving. Since, his co-host Dec has held the fort on Saturday Night Takeaway, presenting solo, for the final two episodes off the series.
Gary went on, adding: “When you’re in a bad way, you don’t realise it, but everyone is really rooting for you to get back on your feet.
“You just have to believe you can do it.”
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Dec will present the upcoming series of Britain’s Got Talent on his own, whilst Ant remains in rehab.
Get well soon Ant!
