Little did the paramedics know that the film set was that of the latest Resident Evil film and all the patients were made-up to look like zombies.
"I could see the look on the first paramedic, saying 'Oh my God,'" Emergency Services Commander David Ralph told the Press Association.
A total of 12 actors were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from bruising to a broken leg and even the police said that they were surprised by the scene they found upon arrival.
"It did kind of catch us off-guard when we walked in", Police Sergeant Andrew Gibson admitted.
