Cole is keen to get new single to fans as soon as possible.
Cheryl Cole is set to release her new single in March.
The Girls Aloud star is said to be finalising plans for her album, which will be the follow-up to 2010's 'Messy Little Raindrops'.
A source told the Daily Star that Cheryl's confident the album, which features the likes of Taio Cruz and producer Alex Da Kid, will be her best yet.
"She's just putting the finishing touches to it before a release date is scheduled," the source said. "But the plan is to have a single out by spring, possibly as early as March."
The source added: "Cheryl is thrilled with the album. She felt she rushed her second album in order to get it released in time.
"But she's really taken her time for this one and feels so positive about the music."
Meanwhile, Cheryl Cole is among the music stars who have congratulated Beyonce and Jay-Z following the birth of their first child, Blue Ivy Carter.
