The Deal Or No Deal presenter will make a late arrival into the jungle tomorrow.
What would Deal Or No Deal be like without the mastermind Noel Edmonds?
Well we may just be about to find out as the TV star has vowed to quit five decades of showbiz if he wins I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
The 69-year-old will be descending into the jungle on Sunday 18th November as a late arrival on the day of the show's launch. And the TV presenter seems so confident that he could win the reality show, that he's even willing to bet his 50-year career on it.
According to The Sun, Edmonds was over heard saying: "If the nation votes me King of the Jungle I will leave television for good" Yikes! Don't speak too soon, Noel.
The former Noel's House Party host, certainly won't be short of cash if he doesn't win the show after being paid a rumoured 600,000 pounds for just appearing on the show, which would make him one of the most expensive campmates in history.
Noel has already been tipped as a potentially 'fascinating' one to watch by ITV host Lorraine Kelly, who also predicted that he might 'rub people up the wrong way.'
Speaking on her self-titled morning show with former campmates Jake Quickenden and Jamie Lomas, she said: "Noel Edmonds is going in and I reckon that’s going to be absolutely fascinating. “Because he will be friendly with people but I think he might rub people up the wrong way.”
Jake also joked about him possibly taking Mr Blobby down under with him, to which Kelly also joked: I think he should, I'm sure Mr Blobby will be voting for him."
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! start this Sunday 18th November on ITV1 at 9pm.
