There's nothing like a juicy tell-all book to find out what's really happening behind the closed doors of the world's most high-profile stars. While, some are autobiographical accounts, and others mere speculation...We've rounded up some of the most jaw-dropping revelations.
A sensational new book 'Becoming Beyonce' dropped a bombshell this week that Jay Z and Beyonce split for a year over infidelity rumours. In the unauthorised biography, publicist Jonathan Hay admits leaking lurid details about an affair between a teen Rihanna and Jay Z to help promote her first single, 'Pon de Replay,' in 2005. Reps for Rihanna have dismissed the claims, adding that Hay had no professional or personal involvement in the star's career.
Before her marriage to Kanye West (and the 72-day blip with Kris Humphries) Kim Kardashian had actually been married before. At the 19, she eloped with producer Damon Thomas to a wedding chapel in Las Vegas without her family knowing. According to a 'Kim' a biography written by author Sean Smith, she became Mrs Thomas on 22 January 2000 and proceeded to keep her new found status a secret for three whole months! The truth came to light when sister Kourtney found the documents online.
After falling out with one-time business partner Simon Fuller over their 'Pop Idol' venture, it's been Cowell's mission to get back at his industry rival. His biography 'Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell' claims that at a party to celebrate Cowell’s last season with 'American Idol', a guest overheard him laying into Fuller. “All I’ve done—Britain’s Got Talent, X Factor, and much more—is revenge for what you did to me. And there’s much more to come.”
We were all shocked by Cheryl's fiery side, which she claims came out in fuel force when she learnt she had been sacked form the 'X Factor USA'. In her book, 'My Story' the singer claims she sent Simon Cowell an expletive filled text messages which also read: "I hate you. I understand you're a businessman, and what I've learned from this is that business means more to you than friendship."
The fiery TV personality wasn't afraid to let the world know about Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue's fling in her book 'Unbreakable' after claiming that she and co-judge Louis Walsh felt like gooseberries during their time on 'The X Factor' in 2007, further adding that Danni became "unbearable" as a result. Speaking of her arch nemesis, Sharon said: “In my opinion she was dark, very dark. What you saw was definitely not what you got."
In her 2002 book 'Learning To Fly' Victoria Beckham described revealed she suffered an eating disorder whilst in The Spice Girls and said that for a time she was "obsessed" with her appearance. She wrote: "In the gym, instead of checking my posture or position, I was checking the size of my bottom, or to see if my double chin was getting any smaller."
