The ex TOWIE star suggests it’s normal to spend £100 on just 3 days worth of food.

Lauren Goodger, 31, has been slammed by fans for a comment she made on social media, following criticism for the cost of her juice diet.

A fan tweeted Lauren saying: "It's £100 for just 3 days of juice.” Lauren then responded saying: "Well think the price of 3 days of food and if you want to be clean it’s always more .. money is health".

She added: "If you buy salads and fish and veg and healthy food is generally more expensive (sadly).

"..it’s depends how much you invest into your diet and wellbeing .. you also can make juices at home or mix salad and soups with juice .. it’s not for everyone but it’s for me."

A number of unimpressed fans hit back, with one writing:

"There are families that can’t afford £100 a month on food! Hate statements like this!"

Another added: "Wouldn't spend £100 on food in 3 days could for about 2 weeks on that.”

Some people, on the other hand agreed with Lauren that being healthy is more costly. One fan tweeted: “Amen. Let the haters be your motivators! I spend more then that just on fresh fish for 3 days! Health is something you can’t put a price on.”

Lauren later responded to the negative tweets, with a final comment saying: “Jeez what I meant was health IS wealth..as in your health is the most important thing you have. Dont have to be wealthy to be healthy. Get it? Good night.”

Guess that clears that up then!
