Eastenders Boss Spills On ‘One Of The Biggest Storylines Ever’ This Christmas

And it's all about Max Branning...
The secrets out, Willmott-Brown has FINALLY announced that he will be building over the Queen Vic as part of a re-development scheme. Meanwhile, Max Branning is in the dog house now that everyone knows he was in on it.
So it comes as no surprise that the ‘biggest storyline ever’ revolves around Max and his family this Christmas.
The soap’s returning boss John Yorke divulged on the dramatic twist set to hit this Christmas, telling Radio Times:
“The really big story on Christmas Day, and one of the biggest stories we have ever told on EastEnders, will revolve around Max and how his past actions all come back to haunt him in the most powerful and appalling way.
“The Branning family and their wider clan will be at the heart of the drama, as all of those involved in the plot to buy up and build over Albert Square get their spectacular comeuppance.
"The story kicks off at the end of November and rapidly builds to a Christmas climax – with the events on Christmas Day laying down the shape of Albert Square for years to come.”
Last month it was revealed that Branning sisters, Lauren and Abi, played by Jacqueline Jossa and Lorna Fitzgerald will be leaving The Square - so we can only predict that their exits will fall at Christmas.
It’s not only Max however who will find himself in a spot of bother as things are going to get tough for Mick Carter and Phil Mitchell regarding their involvement with new bad boy, Aidan Maguire and his plan.
It’s all happening!
