Married At First Sight Australia is ramping up with so much juicy drama fans can't get enough of the cat fights and failed romances, and that's before we've even mentioned the six new brides and grooms that have just entered the experiment.

But instead of sitting down in the evenings to soak up the explosive action at a reasonable time, telly execs have changed the schedule once again – and it's less than convenient.

This year in the UK, series 13 has mostly been airing at 7.30pm on E4, running for around 60-70 minutes from Monday to Thursday, just without the usual Sunday slot from previous seasons.

So when is MAFS Australia airing this week and next? And why has Channel 4 changed the timings again? Here's everything you need to know about the new slot.

When is MAFS Australia 2026 on next week?

You'll be staying up late next week if you want to catch the live action as it airs in the UK.

MAFS Australia has been pushed back by over five hours and will play out on E4 after midnight from Monday to Thursday.

The reality show has been shoved to the new slot of 12:35am, which seems ridiculous for weekday TV.

However, one silver lining is that there will be a new show on Sunday, whereas it's only been broadcast from Monday to Thursday up until now.

Here's a full rundown of the new schedule:

  • Sunday 5th April – 12:35pm-01:40am
  • Monday 6th April – 12:35pm-01:30am
  • Tuesday 7th April – 12:35pm-2:05am
  • Wednesday 8th April – 12:35pm-01:45am
  • Thursday 9th April – 12:35pm-01:30am

Why has MAFS Australia been moved?

It turns out Made In Chelsea has taken precedence over MAFS Australia, which has not gone down well with viewers.

A spokesperson for Channel 4 explained: "Made in Chelsea is delivering a level of cultural impact that simply can’t be ignored this year.

"We wanted to give it the space it deserves, even if that means asking MAFS viewers to be a bit more flexible."

Revealing the reason behind it all, they added: "This year, Made in Chelsea isn’t just a show, it’s a lifestyle."
