8. 'The X-Files'
Sci-fi TV show, 'The X-Files' ran for an amazing 9 seasons from 1993 to 2002 as FBI agents, Mulder and Scully (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) investigated the unexplainable. In 1998 it had it's big screen debut where the duo had to fight a government conspiracy to find out the truth about an alien colonization of Earth. 2008 saw a sequel, 'The X Files: I Want to Believe' hit cinemas and now a new TV show is in development.
