When she was just nine years old, Cataleya (Zoe Saldana) watched helplessly as her parents were killed in front of her eyes and after fleeing from Colombia she took refuge in the US with her gangster uncle Emilio (Cliff Curtis).

Fifteen years on, she works for him as a coldly efficient hit woman but she remains determined to avenge her parents' murder - at any cost with FBI agent James Ross (Lennie James) equally determined to bring her to justice.

Scripted by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, who wrote the 2008 hit Taken, this is a slick, high-octane thriller and is much in the style of action king Besson's acclaimed earlier female assassin films, Nikita and Leon.

She made her mark in Avatar and The Losers - now this star-making role showcases Zoe Saldana at her sexiest, deadliest best.
