2014 was arguably the most competitive Oscars ceremony in years.

Most other years, films like 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' and 'American Hustle' would surely have picked up prizes, but they both left empty handed.

'Gravity' was the biggest winner of the evening, winning seven of its 12 nominated categories.
