And one actress is back for more...

Dolly Parton is a hard act to follow, but CBeebies has lined up a whole week of new stars to read the Bedtime Story. Forget Graham Norton’s sofa, the CBeebies set is currently the number one place that celebrity agents want to book for their clients.

She’s about to head into the jungle for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!  but Jennie McAlpine – aka Coronation Street ‘s Fiz – still found some time to record a story for the little ones, which will be shown on Tuesday, December 12th.

The actress, who is famed for her frizzy red hair, will be reading 'I Don't Want Curly Hair!' by Laura Ellen Anderson, a book helping kids accept who they are and telling the story of two girls who want hair like each other. We love the sound of this.

Campaigner and children's TV presenter Floella Benjamin – who Eighties kids will remember from Play School - will kick off the week. Then former JLS star JB Gill (who also presents CBeebies' series Down on the Farm) will be reading 'Ah-Choo!' on the Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Line of Duty's Mark Bonnar will appear on Thursday 14th and Doctor Foster's Suranne Jones will be back to round off the star-filled week on Friday, December 15.

With the likes of Captain America star Chris Evans; Peaky Blinders’ Tom Hardy; Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme; country music megastar Dolly Parton; Star Trek legend Sir Patrick Stewart and Baywatch icon David Hasselhoff already having done the honours, we wonder who will read the Bedtime Story next.

Madonna? Barack Obama? Dame Judi Dench? Justin Bieber? It seems the sky’s the limit..

You can see this set of CBeebies Bedtime stories daily from Monday, December 11th
