Everything You Need To Know About I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here 2017

31 March 2017, 16:40 | Updated: 14 July 2017, 11:11

The rumours are flying in about who might be going into the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Jungle. including the fact that Eastenders' Ronnie Mitchell, played by Samantha Womack could be a contender!

It may seem a way off, but before we know it Ant and Dec will be back on our screens down under in the Australian jungle and there'll be a new cohort of celebs trying to win Scarlett Moffatt's jungle crown!

But when will I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here 2017 start?

So far, no date has been confirmed for the next series of the show but it always pops up on our screens in November time when the Christmas adverts are getting in full swing!

It usually starts towards the end of November and ends midway through December and lasts for three weeks in total.

Will Ant and Dec be presenting?

As part of their 2016 'golden handcuffs' deal with ITV, Ant and Dec should continue to host I'm A Celebrity until at least 2019.

The Geordie presenting duo signed a £30million deal with the broadcasters to continue their TV reign on shows which include I'm A Celeb, Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain's Got Talent and any other shows that might come their way.

Which celebs are rumoured to be heading into the jungle?

It's never too early for the rumours to start, so here's whose tipped to be possibly heading into the jungle so far...

James Jordan

The ex-Strictly Come Dancing hunk is the hubby of Ola Jordan who was in the jungle in 2016. He also is no stranger to reality TV having headed into the Celebrity Big Brother TWICE now, once in 2014 and in 2017.

Sam Thompson

Sam is no stranger to having the cameras on him at all times so should get on well in the jungle if the rumours are true!

He of course stars in Channel 4's Made In Chelsea so is used to the high life - could he handle the bugs?

Katie Hopkins

Katie is no stranger to controversy, or reality shows as it happens! She's even been in the jungle before, way back in 2007 and has also caused fury with her sharp tongue when she appeared in the Celebrity Big Brother house as well as where it all began, The Apprentice.

Honey G

When I say Honey! You say...G!

Yep, she's hot tipped to be heading into the jungle. She's gone off the radar since she starred in the X-Factor at the end of 2016, so will an appearance on I'm A Celeb give her the boost her music needs?

Plus, producers will probably want her for her high entertainment value! She's certainly one of a kind.

Kristina Rihanoff

Might she be following her fellow Strictly Come Dancing co-star Ola Jordan's ballroom footsteps and heading into the jungle?

She's appeared in eight series of the dancing show and should have some supportive dance fans backing her should she get involved!

Ed Balls

Ed certainly generated headlines when  he starred in 2016's Strictly Come Dancing, so do I'm A Celeb bosses want him to do the same for them?

He was such a great sport on Strictly that we reckon he would really embrace Bush Tucker Trials!

Samantha Womack

Samantha Womack

We all know and love her for her portrayal of Ronnie Mitchell in Eastenders but now she's no longer on the show perhaps she'll try her hand at something different...a three week stretch in the jungle maybe?

Alan Titchmarsh

Well Alan is certainly no stranger to the great outdoors but has he got what it takes to go in the jungle?

Apparently bookies have have his odds at 20/1 to appear on the show.

Who won I'm A Celeb in 2016?

It feels like yesterday but cast your mind back to December 2016 and you'll remember that TV's golden girl Scarlett Moffatt nabbed the title of Queen of the Jungle.

Since her success in the jungle she has rocketed to fame after only previously starring on Gogglebox.

Everybody loves her and her down to earth ways!

Scarlett Moffatt

Who is presenting I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp this year?

It's been reported that last year's host Vicky Pattinson is to leave the show this series, with none other than last year's I'm A Celeb winner Scarlett Moffatt allegedly stepping in. A 'source' told The Sun: “Vicky’s really charismatic but Scarlett’s appeal is broader and she’s proved what a natural she is in front of the cameras. She also complements Ant and Dec. The idea is to have her fronting this year’s show.”

The source added: “But bosses are toying with changing things up each year so that whoever wins the series gets the opportunity to do the spin-off.” Let's wait and see!
