Davood Ghadami has been confirmed For 'Strictly Come Dancing' 2017
EastEnders' Davood Ghadami has become the second star confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.
The actor, who plays the Square's resident heartthrob Kush Kazemi, is the first male celebrity to be announced for the BBC series.

Davood said, “Having the opportunity to take part in this year’s Strictly is such an honour. It’s going to be exciting, challenging and terrifying all at once and I am so looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone and learning to dance. See you under the Glitterball!"
Davood will be joining Saturdays singer Mollie King as part of the Strictly Class of 2017.
We wonder what market trader Kush’s proud mother Carmel would think of her ‘little Kushy’ hitting the dancefloor? We can definitely imagine that Bonnie Langford would love to have a go herself. Maybe next year?
The actor joins a long and illustrious tradition of EastEnders actors who’ve competed in Strictly while still filming in Walford. Those who have done double duty over the years include Christopher Parker (Spencer Moon); Letitia Dean (Sharon Mitchell); Scott Maslen (Jack Branning); Sid Owen (Ricky Butcher); Jake Wood (Max Branning); Kellie Bright (Linda Carter) and Tameka Empson (Kim Fox).
Only one ‘Enders star has managed to lift the glitterball trophy, and that was when Jill Halfpenny (Kate Mitchell) won way back in 2005. Will Davood manage to bring the prize back to Walford? It’s definitely tiring competing in Strictly while still doing the day job, but it helps that ‘Enders and Strictly are both filmed in London’s Elstree.
The forthcoming series will see legendary choreographer Shirley Ballas claim Len Goodman's Head Judge seat following his retirement at the end of last year and, although the fellow panelists - Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli - are excited to have her on board, they're convinced she'll stand her ground.
Craig told BANG Showbiz recently: "I'm really looking forward to working with our new head judge Shirley Ballas, she's going to be fantastic, I met up with her, she's a real laugh, hopefully we'll get on and it won't be a frosty relationship that I had with Len Goody, Goody, Goodman.
"I suspect we'll clash, she's a purist just like Len was, she's from that ballroom and Latin world which is very strict, she's going to be great, she's feisty and she'll be funny too. I think she'll be out there, I think she'll be hard on people, she knows her stuff."
Sounds good to us! Now, we wonder who the third celeb is going to be?
