Sources claim the couple fear that that they will be dropped from the BBC show after bringing shame to the programme.

Strictly Come Dancing couple Neil and Katya Jones fear they will be AXED from the show.

The husband-wife duo were at the centre of Strictly’s biggest scandal in years after Katya, 29, was pictured passionately kissing her dance partner, Seann Walsh.

And new reports claim Neil, 35, who has maintained a dignified silence since the scandal broke last month, and his Russian wife now expect their contracts NOT to be renewed in January.

A source told The Sun: “January is when the new cast contracts are issued and this year there is massive panic from the dancers about their futures.

“Katya and Neil are worried bosses feel her dalliance with Seann has left a black mark that can’t be removed against their names.”

The reports come as Neil took to Instagram to post a cryptic post - as Katya was pictured out partying with pals.

Neil shared a photo of himself looking over his shoulder, with the caption: “

Other newcomers said to be anxious about their future are Nadiya Bychkova, who got the boot with Lee Ryan in week two, and South African Johannes Radebe, who compared Blackpool to a “squatters’ camp”.

He was forced to apologise after insulting the British seaside town and its people.

Johannes said: “Growing up, for me there’s always been the Blackpool championship... and when you look at Blackpool from the inside, it’s majestic.

“And you would think it would be in a very posh area as it hosts one of the biggest events in the dancing calendar… and apparently, they’re like the squatter camps.”
