Strictly stars anger locals after 'partying until 5am' in Blackpool

Blackpool residents were left furious after Strictly Come Dancing stars partied 'until breakfast time' after their annual jaunt up north.

The Strictly cast partied til 5am after their annual Blackpool extravaganza - and locals weren't impressed.

On Saturday night, fans saw Ashley Roberts land the first 40 score of the series, and it seems the celebrations went on until the next day.

An onlooker told The Sun: "It was carnage. They really hit it hard and obviously had an amazing night - but people nearby were livid.

"The Strictly lot were shouting and hollering in the smoking area... and with the booming music locals were less than impressed."

A source close to the production team told the publication that "Strictly showed Blackpool its wildest party ever" before claiming that many of the cast were still celebrating "until breakfast time."

The cast were pictured looking bleary-eyed the next morning, but Kate Silverton remained cheery despite becoming the latest celebrity to leave the competition.

Kate, 48, landed in the dance-off against Graeme Swann and professional partner Oti Mabuse, with the judging panel unanimously choosing to save former cricketer Graeme.
