Auditions: Week Two

On Saturday, for the first time in four years, The X Factor rolled into Dublin with Katy Perry as the guest judge.

The New Boyzone?
First up hoping to get the Dublin auditions off to a cracking start, and of course do Louis proud, are local boyband Temple Fire. They sing Wham!’s Wake Me Up.

Dublin's Big Voice?
So at last everyone is happy. One woman who is convinced she can keep the judges in a good mood is 50 year old Mary from Dublin.  She sings Shirley Bassey’s This is My Life.  As the song ends, the whole audience are on their feet, but what will the judges think?

Michael Jackson idol

Dressed like his namesake - shop worker Michael (Lewis) just wants to share the passion for his idol. Can he win over the judges and the audience...

Does the next act have a ‘Reason’ to get through to Bootcamp?
Next up in London are friends Scott, Glenn, Nathan and Mark from Southampton, aka The Reason. The boys arrive on stage and tell the judges: "We’re going to sing a song that Cheryl might know, Fight For This Love."

Second time lucky for Annastasia?

The next contestant hoping to continue the run of good luck in London is a familiar face to the judges. Annastasia made it through to the judges houses stage back in 2008 but her audition fell apart and meant Cheryl had to send her home. Annastasia sings Tina Turner’s Proud Mary but Simon stops her audition.
