RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to the 'Southampton Airport & easyJet' radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on 23rd and 24th January 2019 on Heart South Coast (the “Radio Station”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must listen to the Breakfast Show on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th January 2019 and text the keyword 'PLANE' to 82122 (the 'Text message' line). The opening and closing times of the text line will be announced on air. Texts will be charged at standard network rates.
4. One entrant will be selected at random to play 'Get 3 to Ski'. 30 seconds will be put on the clock and the entrant has 30 seconds to get three general knowledge questions correct. The entrant can pass on a question or get questions wrong. The presenters will ask as many questions as they can in the allotted 30 seconds. The entrants MUST get 3 correct to win.
5. If the entrant gets 3 correct they will be announced as the winner on air. If they don't get three correct another entrant will be selected at random to play and the game will be played again. This will continue until a winner is found.
6. All Entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenters and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.
Eligibility:
7. Entrants must be 18 or over, be based in the UK and have a valid passport to travel (valid for at least 6 months beyond the return flight date).
8. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
9. This competition excludes employees of easyJet, Southampton Airport, Heart, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this Promotion.
Prize:
10. Each winner (two winners in total, one from each day) will receive a pair of return flights from Southampton Airport to Geneva Airport with easyJet and £500.
11. Flights will go from Southampton Airport to Geneva Airport flying out on either a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. The return flight will be three nights later.
12. The pair of tickets will be Economy Class return tickets from Southampton Airport to Geneva Airport as stated above. Tickets are subject to availability.
13. Each return ticket must be used together (both passengers must travel together). One of the passengers must be the prize winner. Both travellers must be 18 or over and have a valid passport.
14. easyJet/Southampton Airport/Global is not responsible for transfers to or from the airports, accommodation or any other travel expense. Transfers, accommodation etc. are all not included within the prize and are up to the winner to source.
15. Flights must be taken by 31st March 2019 and exclude travel during February Half Term (Saturday 16th – Sunday 24th February 2019).
16. No extension of the dates is allowed.
17. No change of companion, names, travel dates or any other detail in the tickets is allowed once these have been issued.
18. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other prize or cash value.
19. Income taxes (if any) paid on the value of this prize, or any other applicable surcharges, shall be the responsibility of the winner.
20. Global will facilitate and sort getting the flight tickets to the winner. The winner will be advised of all details.
21. Prize of £500 cash will be paid into winner’s bank account via BACS. Therefore Account Number, Sort Code etc. must be provided on email to Global in order to pay this.
22. Global and Southampton Airport reserve the right to substitute the prizes with other prizes at its absolute discretion.
