Taunton: Young Woman Dies After Car Hits Wall In Taunton

A woman has died following the collision in Taunton on Friday 18th April.

Police say they were told at around 12.45am about a car which had collided with a wall on Wellington Road. 

The driver was taken to hospital but died later. 

The victim has been identified as Jessica White, 23, who is from the Taunton area but was currently living in Ilminster. 

Her family have been told and police say they are asking for privacy while they come to terms with Jessica’s death.



The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues and Police want would to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or saw the car – a silver Renault Clio – being driven before. If you can help please call the Collision Investigation Unit on 101
