Boeuf Bourguignon is a classic winter warmer - but made in the new Kenwood Cooking Chef, it's just got easier.

You'll need:
800g of cubed beef
2 sliced onions
4 diced carrots
half a bottle of red wine
100g of butter, and a pinch of seasoning.

Set your cooking chef to maximum heat and melt butter in the bowl. Add the
beef, vegetables and seasoning and cook for 15 minutes.
Reset the temperature to 85 degrees celsius and cook for at least 3 hours.
Ladle onto fluffy rice and serve. Fantastic!

Its easy to create fantastic home made soups.

Try this Broccoli and stilton recipe...

You'll need:
2 large florets of broccoli, chopped.
half a red onion
400 grams of stilton
and 100ml of double cream

Boil the veg until soft. Keeping the water, strain the cooked veg and blend
in your kenwood food processor until smooth. Pour back into the water
and simmer gently. Add stilton and cream and stir until melted. sprinkle with
salt and white pepper, then serve.

Naughty, but nice!

Entertaining and want to impress? well try this simple but effective
recipe perfect with tortilla chips...

You'll need:
2, pealed and stoned ripe avocados
half a red onion
1 clove of garlic
a fresh lime
and a handful of coriander

Using your Kenwood Tri Blade hand blender with it's cup attachment, blitz
the garlic and coriander until fine. Add the red onion and then the avocado.
Squeeze in fresh lime juice, and serve. Why not accompany your guacamole
with a salsa? Just blitz tomatoes, onion, coriander and a dash of chilli sauce.

Here's a delicious tea-time recipe for Zesty Lemon Drizzle cake.

 

You'll need:

150 grams of butter, self raising flour and caster sugar.
You'll also need 3 eggs, 3 tablespoons of Icing sugar and the zest and juice of a large unwaxed lemon

Cream the sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl, then beat in the
eggs.

Gradually sift the flour while mixing, and add the rind of half a lemon.

Empty into a lined baking tin and bake at 190 degrees for 25 mins.

Once cooled, mix the icing sugar and lemon juice, and drizzle over sponge.
Yummy!

For a tasty, warming lunch, serve fresh tomato soup with a wedge of
home-made basil bread.

You'll need:
350 grams of strong white flour,
half a teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of dried yeast
a teaspoon of sugar
300mls of water
2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh basil
and a splash of olive oil.

Empty all ingredients into a bread maker and set to normal, medium crust.
In about an hour, your bread will be ready and your home filled with an
unmistakable aroma. cut into chunks and spread with slightly salted butter.

There's nothing quite like the smell of ground beans
to awaken the senses.

 

Crisp up a couple of croissants, fill with unsalted butter and thick cut marmalade and you've got yourself the perfect continental breakfast.

Glenwood Pizza

Pre-heat your oven to 230 degrees.

You will need:
165ml of water, one and a half tablespoons of olive oil, 320g of unbleached white bread flour, half a teaspoon of salt and one and a half teaspoons of easy-blend dried yeast

Add the ingredients to the bowl in the order listed in the above recipe

Remove the dough from the bowl and role out into flat Pizza bases (this recipe will make two 7inch pizzas). Spread tomato puree in the centre of the base, add, ensuring that the tomato puree is completely covered and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

Raspberry and blueberry muffins

Makes 6 muffins, prep time 10 minutes, cooking time 20 minutes

You will need:
200g plain flour, 15ml of baking powder, pinch of salt, 50g caster sugar, 50g of butter, 1 egg beaten, 200ml of milk, 50g of raspberries plus extra for topping, 75g of blueberries plus extra for topping, demerera sugar to sprinkle.

Pre-heat the over to 200 degrees centigrade, 400 degrees fahrenheit,Gas mark 6.
Fill 6 deep muffin tins with muffin cases.
Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into the bowl.
Melt the butter in a small pan.Make a well in the flour and pour in the butter, egg and milk. Fit the dough hook and knead on speed 1 for two minutes, scraping occasionally until well combined.
Add the fruits and knead on speed min for 20 seconds until well combined.Divide between cases, top with a few extra fruits and sprinkle over sugar.Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until well risen and golden.Allow to cool on a wire rack.
