Bank Holiday Set To Be Washout

This bank holiday weekend is set to be a washout.

While around 1-point-8 million Britons will head off abroad for the break, conditions for those staying at home will be dismal.

Heavy rain's forecast for England and Wales - and there could be some thunderstorms too.

The Met Office has put the south coast on yellow alert for tomorrow (Saturday 25th August).

They tell us spells of heavy rain and thundery showers have the potential to cause disruption.

We're being told as well to be on the look out for surface water flooding, with strong to gale force winds an additional hazard for Dorset, Hampshire and West Sussex.
