There've been power cuts after strong winds and heavy rain hit the south coast.

People in places like Beaulieu, Brockenhurst and Dibden were without power for much of Friday. 

Wareham, Swanage, Petersfield and the villages between Winchester and Alton were also affected. 

A plane heading to Manchester had to turn around and go back to Gurnsey after hitting a storm over the Isle of Wight.

There are reports it was hit by lightning, but that everyone's safe.

The New Forest's one of the worst affected areas.

A tree came down on the A337 between Highcliff and New Milton.

A property was been damaged in East Boldre after a trampoline hit it. 

There were travel problems too.

Brittany ferries cancelled today's sailing from Portsmouth to Bilbao

And the Liberation's not running between Poole and the Channel Islands today or tomorrow. 

Firefighters in Dorset have had been called to loads of drivers stuck in floodwater.
