Essex Man Could Be In Hampshire

Police are appealing for help from the public to find a man who is missing from his home in Coggeshall.

Steven Gover, 52, of Tilkey Road, was reported missing by his wife on Friday, February 19.

Enquiries have revealed that Mr Gover travelled by train from Waterloo to Fratton station, Portsmouth where he has family and friends in the area. But none of them has heard from him.

Police in Hampshire are continuing investigations in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight but officers in Essex have appealed for help from anyone who may know where Mr Gover is or may have seen him if he has returned to the county.

Pc Adam Greenaway said: “We are extremely concerned for Mr Gover’s welfare and his family are desperate to locate him.”

Mr Gover is 5ft 11in tall, of proportionate build and has short grey hair. It is not known what he was wearing when he left his home.
