Tributes have been paid to a 32 year old man who died after his car left the road and landed on railway tracks near Fair Oak on Thursday
Christopher James Whyton, 32, of Coxford Road, Lordswood died following a road traffic collision on Allington Lane on Thursday, June 9.
The family of Chris Whyton, said: "Family and friends are devastated at the sudden loss of Chris.
"A cherished and much loved son, brother, uncle and friend. His gentle, caring and loving nature will be sadly missed by all who knew him, along with his thoughtful ways towards others.
"He will always be in our prayers."
Mr Whyton was the driver of a silver Skoda which was travelling along Allington Lane at 12.35pm when the car left the road and landed on the railway tracks.
Investigations into the exact cause of the collision are ongoing.
