Hampshire Police Search For Hit And Run Driver

Police are looking for the driver of a red car after a motorcyclist was seriously injured near Bishop Waltham.
The 58-year-old is in hospital with life changing injuries.
It's thought to have happened as a tractor was pulling out of a nearby field on Wednesday afternoon along Corhampton Down.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have been asked to repair the bodywork of a 2015 red Kia cee’d since Wednesday.
A statement from Hampshire Police said:
"Police are appealing for help to trace a car believed to be involved in a three vehicle collision on the B3035 Corhampton Down near Bishops Waltham at 3pm on Wednesday, April 13.
"The red coloured 2015 Kia cee’d , travelling southbound is believed to have collided with a motorcyclist which was travelling northbound. The car driver failed to stop at the scene.
"The collision occurred as a tractor was pulling out of a nearby field.
"The motorcyclist, a 58-year-old man from Waltham Chase, remains in hospital suffering life changing injuries."
PC Phil Robertson said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information relating to the driver of the red Kia.
“We’d also like to hear from anyone who may have been asked to repair the bodywork of a 2015 red Kia cee’d since Wednesday.”
