A teenager has appeared in court charged with murdering a baby girl.
Seven-week-old Ezmai Martin was taken to hospital following an incident at a flat in New Road, Bordon, Hampshire, just after 5pm on June 28 last year.
After being admitted to the Royal Surrey Hospital, she was then transferred to St George's Hospital in Tooting, south-west London, where she died. Her cause of death has not been disclosed.
Joshua Martin, 19, of Salisbury Close, Alton, has been charged with murder.
At Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, he was remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday, a court official said.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman declined to confirm the relationship between the accused and the baby girl.
