Mum Pleads Not Guilty Over Fordingbridge Girl Murder

Whitsbury Road Fordingbridge girl died

A woman has pleaded not guilty to the murder of her three-year-old daughter who died from drowning in Fordingbridge.

Police were called to a house in Whitsbury Road, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, on October 19 last year.

Bethan Colebourn, three, was taken to Salisbury District Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Her family said in a statement released through police: "Bethan brought so much happiness and joy to so many people's lives.
"She was a fun-loving, adventurous and caring young girl who will be dearly missed. She will be in our hearts and minds forever."

Claire Colebourn, 36, of Oxford, appeared at Winchester Crown Court today. 

A trial date was set for March 5th.
