Jobs Created At Southampton Airport

Southampton Airport says it's going to take on around 100 new staff this year.

Roles will include security, check-in and customer services and the roles will be spread across airport’s 30 different companies.

In addition, Hampshire Constabulary will be promoting their voluntary posts as Special Constables as a way to develop new skills which are attractive to employers, as well as a possible route to joining the Police.                                                                                                                                      

To kick-start the recruitment drive, the airport is hosting the first ever ‘Southampton Airport Careers Fair’ on Wednesday 12th January from 10am – 3pm in the Spitfire Meeting Room in the airport terminal. 

The event is open to all, and is an opportunity to discover more about the variety of permanent and seasonal roles which will be available in the forthcoming year.  Employers will include;

BAA (the airport owners), Servisair, Aramark, Amey and Hampshire Constabulary.

Current BAA job vacancies include; IT Manager and maternity cover for the Head of Health, Safety, Security & Environment role.
