Knifepoint Robbery In Portsmouth Park

Two men have been robbed at knifepoint in Portsmouth - while sitting on a park bench.

The 22-year-olds were in Victoria Park between 2pm and 2.30pm on Good Friday (March 29, 2013) when they were approached by a man they didn't know.

He asked them for directions, which they provided, before he produced a knife and demanded their mobile phones and cash.

Both victims handed over their property before the man left the park via the entrance at the junction of Anglesea Road and Edinburgh Road.

The suspect's described as:

White
5 ft 8 ins to 5 ft 10 ins tall
Skinny build
Thin drawn/gaunt face
Eastern European accent with broken English
Aged in his late 20s or early 30s
Clean shaven
Wearing a hooded Puffa jacket, a Beanie hat (worn under hood), blue jeans
