Second Man Charged Over Totton Armed Robbery

Second man charged following armed robbery at house in Totton.

A 20-year-old Southampton man arrested earlier this week, as part of the investigation into an armed robbery at a house in Testwood Lane, Totton has now been charged.

He was arrested by officers in Cutbush Lane, Southampton. As part of their investigation officers also executed warrants at two addresses in Kingsdown Way.

Jamie Dalton from Kingsdown Way, Southampton has been charged with aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm with intend to cause fear of violence. He will appear before Southampton Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday, March 9.

Another man has already been charged as part of the investigation into the incident which happened on Wednesday, February 22.

Matthew Harfield, 34, of no fixed abode, was charged with aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and is next due to appear in court at Winchester Crown Court on April 26.

Another man has also already been arrested in connection with this case and bailed until May.
