Detectives in Fareham have charged a man with attempted murder after a 41-year-old man was stabbed in a flat in the High Street at Lee-on-Solent.
Police were called to the incident in the early hours of Satuday (5th February) and three men were arrested – two as they left the scene in a taxi.
A 29 year old, of no fixed address has now been charged with trying to kill the victim. He’ll appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court today (Monday, February 7th).
The 41-year-old victim has undergone surgery at the QA Hospital in Portsmouth and is making a good recovery.
The other men, aged 27 and 29, arrested at the time have now been released on police bail while enquiries continue until May 4.
