Man Threatens Family In Southampton
Police are looking for a man who threatened a family at a petrol station in Southampton.
He went up to a man, woman and a child at Esso on Northam Road at round 7.45pm on Wednesday, December 12 and made threats. Police say he may have had a knife up his sleeve.
The child ran into the garage shop for safety and the man ran off along Northam Road. No one was hurt or injured but those who were targeted were left shaken by the incident.
The forecourt was busy with people refuelling their cars at the time and officers are asking those drivers or their passengers to contact them as a matter of urgency.
Anyone else who was in the area at that time and either saw or heard something that might be linked, especially the aggressor running along Northam Road, should phone PC Simon Spencer at Southampton Central police station on 101 or the Crimestoppers charity line anonymously on 0800 555 111.
