Mystery Attack on Teenager In Southampton

Police in Southampton are appealing for witnesses as they try to find out what happened to a man who ended up with a fractured jaw and bruising to his body but who can’t remember how it happened.

The 19-year-old had been in Kelly’s Nightclub on London Road earlier in the evening with two friends but they left before he did at around 1am on Monday, September 27 and at that stage he was ok.

Between leaving and arriving at a relatives house at around 1.45am in Oaktree Road, Bitterne he sustained the injuries.

He has had to have an operation on his jaw at Southampton General Hospital to insert a metal plate due to the injuries.

Officers are now trying to established exactly what happened to find out if he was attacked or not.

They are asking anyone who may have seen the man that evening as he walked home towards Oaktree Road in Bitterne or if there was some sort of incident they witnessed involving him to contact them.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10 inches tall and was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
